First MetroPCS Android with 4g! Samsung Forte
The LTE-equipped Samsung Forte on MetroPCS has leaked in the form of images. We expect the device to be the Android 2.2-based Forte that features a slide-out QWERTY keyboard.
Although coming with Android 2.2, we can expect it to get the Android 2.3 Gingerbread upgrade in a short time after the release.
This 4G device is expected to bear the 1GHz Hummingbird processor which can boost the speed of the operations. It will also feature a 5MP autofocus camera that has video capabilities.
The Samsung Forte 4G will possibly feature a capacitive touchscreen with multi -touch, proximity censor and light sensor. The company will also incorporate a microSD card slot for expanding the storage capacity.
Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi and microUSB are said to be included in the connectivity options, and the company will also enable the GPS navigation feature.
The device is expected to ship with built-in support for online services like Facebook and Twitter.
Price is set around $300-$500 considering that MetroPCS has no contracts they're prices are slightly higher
