What is it about music?
Have you ever felt, depressed, or happy, or mad and then just put on some music and instantly had your mood changed? What is it about music that makes us feel differently based on what we listen? I guess it must be the emotions we attach to said songs try to remember a song that makes you happy, for me one example could be Strawberry Fields Forever by the Beatles just because when I first heard that song I was with a group of friends and we where all having a great time it was back when a smile wasn't just for show when I actually felt truly happy so now every time I listen to the song it's like I relive a part of that experience.
What are your favorite songs that make you happy, sad, or angry?

Thanks for stopping by my blog, one song that always makes me sad is Staind - Epiphany, it's a magically depressing song! But one that makes me happy? Wham's Wake Me Up, haha! Anyway, nice blog, following!
ReplyDeleteSometimes. I feel listening to music at the gym really gets me into the mood. Otherwise, it doesnt really change my mood in a normal setting (i.e. from sad to happy, or from happy to sad). I'm cold like that.

I have a few songs that are my go-to tracks when I need a pick-me-up. One of them is The Beatles as well. Anytime, without fail, if I'm feeling like shit I can throw on Hey Jude and I can't help but brighten up and sing along.
ReplyDeleteBack in the day, a piece of music was able to switch my mood. Nowadays, I seem to be more stubborn. :D
